A semi-sweet wine made from the Graševina grape. A perfect summer wine. A pale straw with hints of green in colour, this wine has a fresh, light, pleasant aroma and a sweet taste of apple and honey. Recommended as a wine to enjoy as an everyday treat and those special occasions, it goes deliciously with fish and white meat.
Graševina is the most sought-after, and most planted grape variety in Croatia. It thrives on cooler soils and continental climate. If you enjoy Chenin Blanc, Graševina should be the next on your wine list.
Best served chilled.
Wine with a protected designation of origin (PDO): Hrvatsko Podunavlje
What experts at https://www.jancisrobinson.com say about our wine
Cool, lemon-scented, early-morning, crushed-bay-leaf fragrance. Crystalline palate, spiked with sage and verbena, more tension than the Feravino and Papak Graševinas. Soft edges, but at the same time there is a sharp spine, a stoniness, that carries through to the end. Stony texture as well. Then powdery finish. Lovely twist of gently bitter pith, citrus and stones right to the finish. Scored at 17/20
