The Merlot is a popular and widespread grape throughout the world. The climate of Erdut vineyards is perfect for Merlot.
Erdut Merlot is velvety, intense with a beautiful translucent rich ruby colour, which, with aging, tends to become garnet along the edge. A soft wine which is low in tannins and high in alcohol, with aromas of black cherries, prunes, red berries and spices with hint of plums and oak barrique.
Best served chilled at a temperature of 12-15 ° C. This wine goes particularly well with dark meat and venison.

What experts at https://www.jancisrobinson.com say about our wine
Bright, transparent ruby. Very clear, pure nose, smelling unexpectedly of wild strawberries and red cherry. Delicious. It tastes like cherry juice with a drop of damson liqueur. Cranberry sharp acidity, tannins simply pencilled in on the framework. Joyously fresh, light and utterly different. You could easily drink this for lunch with a salad or charcuterie and barely feel the alcohol at all. It’s such a pleasure to taste Merlot like this… Pinot style! Scored at 16/20
